Adeyemi (“Ade”) Ajao is the co-founder and Managing Partner at Base10 Partners. Prior to Base10, Ade had a successful career as an entrepreneur and investor. He co-founded and served as CEO of Tuenti, often referred to as the “Spanish Facebook,” which was acquired by Telefónica in 2010 for $100 million. He also co-founded and was CEO of Identified, an “AI for HR” company acquired by Workday in 2014, and was a founding investor in Cabify, the largest ridesharing company in Latin America, currently valued at over $1 billion. While at Workday, Ade led the launch of Workday Ventures, the company’s first fund focused on applied AI for enterprise software, and served as VP of Technology Strategy.

Originally from Spain with Nigerian heritage, Ade holds an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. He also earned a J.D. in Law and an M.S. in Economics from Icade University in Spain and completed a certificate in Machine Learning at Stanford University. In 2023 and 2024, Ade was named to the Forbes Midas List.
