Lauren Farrelly Searway is a Portfolio Manager for TCU Investment Management. She is responsible for leading manager relationships as well as sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment strategies. In her role, Ms. Searway has worked with the CIO on asset allocation, investment policy, and risk management. She led the successful implementation of TCU’s multi-asset class investment analytics platform. In addition, Ms. Searway manages sponsorship opportunities for the TCU Investment Strategies Conference. She was the first intern with the Endowment office while an undergraduate student at TCU.

Ms. Searway returned to TCU’s investment team in September 2014 as a Senior Analyst focused on researching and evaluating investment opportunities across asset classes as a generalist investor. She began her career at Prudential Private Capital in Dallas. Previously, Ms. Searway served on Capitol Hill as a congressional staffer for Texas’ 12th Congressional District. She was appointed congressional page overseer by the Speaker of the House for the 2nd session of the 109th Congress of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Ms. Searway graduated from TCU magna cum laude as an Honors Laureate with a BBA in finance and a minor in Japanese. She earned her MBA from the Neeley School of Business. Ms. Searway was a Mission Statement Scholar, in recognition of demonstrating excellence in fulfilling the TCU mission, and Clark Society Scholar, a distinction awarded to students who represent TCU with the highest degree of character, leadership, and sense of service. Ms. Searway is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Dallas/Fort Worth.
